Friends,

The bank of photovoltaic cells on our house roof was turned on this afternoon.
The electric meter immediately began spinning backwards, to show we are supplying renewable energy to the power grid.
We asked for a high-end system, 3.7 kW. During the sunny part of the day, we are exporting power to the grid, and receive credits
from the power company. At night, or on overcast days, we spend the credits we've accumulated.

We take seriously the problem of reducing our carbon footprint in our daily lives. Thus we have replaced our old appliances with modern, energy-efficient editions, so quite possibly the panels will offset more than the estimated 83% of our monthly electric bill (based on our last twelve months usage with the twenty-year-old appliances).
We are happy to recommend our contractor, Tony Diaz of New Century Roof Tile. He has done an exemplary job designing the system we asked for, pricing it fairly and installing promptly and competently. He has considerable experience and all the proper credentials for a complex job like solar installation, including experience submitting paperwork to PG&E. We have confidence that he will provide whatever support or problem-solving might be required in future. Tony himself was involved in all phases of the bidding and construction.

Greenly,
Marilyn & John Walker

Tony,

Pam and I wanted to let you know how pleased we are with the recent work Century Roof Tile did on our home.
I don't know where to start-of course we love the new skylights, the tile roof really was a nice enhancement over
the previous wood shake roof, the gutters are great, and last but not least-we are delighted with the integrated solar roof.
Everyone who sees our solar roofs asks-"Where are the solar panels?"

When I first discussed a solar roof with Pam, she was against it because of the "industrial" look that most systems have.
The Open Energy system you installed on our house is practically invisible. Your team did a great job, working with Open Energy
to get all the (complex) paper work processed. I was prepared for the worst (dealing with permits, PG&E, the CEC...), and I have
to say the process was much easier than I expected.

We would be pleased to be a reference for you, should the need arise. Your team's quality and dedication to your customers is
exemplary. We have owned our home for more than 10 years and have had numerous "experiences" working with contractors on
various home improvement projects, and your company is the first one that I can say I enjoyed working with.

Sincerely,
Chris & Pam Crone

Dear Mr. Diaz,

I wanted to thank you again for another roof well done. This last roof was the third one installed by your company on
various houses I own. As always, you were informative, prompt and professional. The job was executed by an excellent
crew.

This particular roof was more technical than the others. You explained clearly the benefits of photovoltaic roof panels to
generate enough electrical power to supply the house. The panels matched the roof perfectly and the neighbors are unaware
of the panels.

Your handling of the coordination between your electrician and our contractor and building electrician made for smooth trouble
free installation. Century Roof Tile even took care of the "energy rebate" program.

A great job was also done on the installation of the water solar panels on the roof. Your crew worked with the plumber and
explained exactly where to put the plumbing for the roof jacks.

Thanks again,
Doug Nakaya
